about

I wasn’t always a health nut. An 80′s baby, I had my fair share of SpaghettiOs. In fact, the SpaghettiO-stained face was such a frequent look that family members started thinking that was where my orange hair came from. While I did love me some faux tomato sauce, other signs pointed to a granola-lover in the making. My other favorite foods included raw carrots and strawberries (again with the hair, I know). I suppose the rest happened gradually over the years, until one day I found myself juicing celery and I knew it was official.

Looking back, what has driven me down this road has been a fascination with the power of food and the effect it has on our bodies. Clearly, I think eating healthy is important. I write a blog dedicated to it. But it’s not just about eating your vegetables for the sake of being healthy. It’s about what being healthy allows you to DO! Otherwise what’s the point, right?

We all have to find the right balance that enables us to get what we want out of our days and our lives. As a holistic health coach, I work with people to help them find balance for themselves and achieve their own personal health goals. Whether it’s to have more energy, lose weight, prevent disease or learn to cook, I work with people to help them take small, manageable steps toward a happier and healthier life.

I hope you’ll check out the information and recipes here and that you’ll find them helpful and inspiring. Look around, come back and let me know what you think. Or if you have a question or would like me to write about a particular topic, leave a comment or email me. I’d love to hear from you. Thanks again for visiting. Enjoy!

Cheers to your health,
Megan
